Compatibility & control

This extension cable is compatible with the Lumishore LUX SL180 CRGBW strip light and LUX SNL180 CRGBW neon flex within the LUX and EOS-LUX ecosystem. It is not compatible with ECLIPSE SL100 or SNL100 products (which use 2-wire connections). Use the LUX SL/SNL 6-Core 2-Way Splitter (010-14465-00) alongside this cable to branch a single driver output to two runs.

Frequently asked questions

Can I daisy-chain two 3M extension cables for a total of 6 m?
Daisy-chaining is physically possible with the keyed connectors; however, check the total maximum cable length specified in your LUX driver installation manual before adding extensions. Excessive cable length can cause voltage drop and affect performance.

Will this cable work with ECLIPSE SL100 or SNL100 strip lights?
No. This extension uses the 6-pin proprietary Lumishore connector for the LUX SL180/SNL180 system. ECLIPSE SL100/SNL100 products use a 2-wire connection and are not compatible with this cable.

Is the 3M the right length, or should I order 5M?
Order the shortest cable that reaches comfortably from your driver location to the strip/neon-flex. Avoid excess cable length as it must be coiled somewhere in the installation. The 5M extension (010-14459-00) is the next size up for longer runs.

What's the warranty?
