Compatibility & control

The ECLIPSE Command Center is the dedicated controller for Lumishore ECLIPSE series lights. It does not provide direct Garmin MFD integration in the same way as the EOS-LUX Command Center (which requires a Bridge Module for NMEA 2000 / Garmin LightHouse control) — instead it connects to a compatible MFD via Ethernet for full lighting management from the chart display. Compatible light families and control paths include:

• ECLIPSE SMX24 — single-color and dual-color surface mount underwater lights
• ECLIPSE SMX54 — high-power surface mount underwater lights (single-color and dual-color)
• ECLIPSE SNL100 — surface mount non-lighting (deck and above-waterline strip) lights
• MFD control via Ethernet — compatible with Garmin, Raymarine, Simrad, B&G, Furuno, Lowrance, and Humminbird MFDs
• App control via Wi-Fi — any smartphone or tablet; no onboard network required

Which Lumishore lights does the ECLIPSE Command Center control?
The ECLIPSE Command Center is designed exclusively for the ECLIPSE light family: ECLIPSE SMX24, SMX54, and SNL100 fixtures. It is not compatible with EOS-LUX, SUPRA, or ORA series lights.

Does the ECLIPSE Command Center work with my Garmin chartplotter?
Yes — the ECLIPSE Command Center connects to compatible Garmin MFDs via its built-in Ethernet port, allowing you to manage all ECLIPSE lighting zones from the chart display. Note that this is an Ethernet network connection, not a NMEA 2000 or direct Garmin LightHouse integration; for NMEA 2000 / LightHouse control, see the EOS-LUX Command Center and Bridge Module instead.

How many lights can I connect per zone?
Each zone supports up to 16 lights, provided the total current draw for that zone does not exceed 10 A. Check the current draw of each fixture in your planned layout before wiring.

Can I expand beyond 3 zones?
Yes. The ECLIPSE Command Center supports up to 3 additional expansion modules, bringing the maximum to 6 zones total. Use the 2-Zone Expansion Module (MPN 010-04488-00) to add 2 zones at once, or the 1-Zone Expansion Module (MPN 010-04487-00) for incremental expansion.

Does the ECLIPSE Command Center work on a 24 V system?
No. The ECLIPSE Command Center and all ECLIPSE lights are 12 V DC only (10–15 V DC operating range). They are not compatible with 24 V electrical systems.

Is Wi-Fi control always available, even without a router onboard?
Yes. The Command Center broadcasts its own Wi-Fi hotspot (default SSID: lumi-net). Connect any smartphone or tablet directly to that network and open the Lumishore app — no onboard router or internet connection required.

Is the ECLIPSE Command Center a Garmin product?
Yes. Garmin acquired Lumishore in October 2024, so the ECLIPSE Command Center (MPN 010-04486-00) is now a Garmin product sold under the Lumishore brand. The hardware design and manufacturing are unchanged. MyGreenOutdoors is a Garmin and Lumishore authorized dealer.
