Compatibility & control

The ECLIPSE Expansion Module — 2-Zone only works with the ECLIPSE Command Center (MPN 010-04486-00). It has no standalone control interface and cannot be used independently or with any other controller. Once connected, all zones — including the 2 new expansion zones — are managed through the Command Center's existing control interfaces:

• Wi-Fi app control — from any smartphone or tablet connected to the Command Center’s lumi-net hotspot
• Ethernet MFD control — via the Command Center’s Ethernet port connected to a Garmin, Raymarine, Simrad, B&G, Furuno, Lowrance, or Humminbird MFD
• Switch control — momentary or latching switch per zone
• Compatible lights — ECLIPSE SMX24, SMX54, and SNL100 fixtures (12 V only)

Note: this module is not compatible with EOS-LUX, SUPRA, or ORA series lights, and does not add NMEA 2000 or direct Garmin LightHouse integration — those features depend on the EOS-LUX system with Bridge Module.

Can I use the ECLIPSE Expansion Module without an ECLIPSE Command Center?
No. The 2-Zone Expansion Module is an accessory that requires an ECLIPSE Command Center (MPN 010-04486-00) as the base unit. It connects via a link wire and is controlled entirely through the Command Center — it has no independent control interface of its own.

How many expansion modules can I connect to one Command Center?
You can connect up to three expansion modules in total, bringing the maximum to 6 zones. You can mix 1-zone and 2-zone modules to reach that maximum — for example, one 2-zone module (5 zones total) plus one 1-zone module (6 zones total).

Do the new expansion zones appear in my MFD and app automatically?
Yes. Once the expansion module is linked to the Command Center, the additional zones appear in the Lumishore app and in any connected MFD display alongside the base 3 zones — no separate software setup required.

Does this expansion module work on a 24 V system?
No. The ECLIPSE Expansion Module and all ECLIPSE lights are 12 V DC only (10–15 V DC operating range). They are not compatible with 24 V electrical systems.

Does the 2-Zone module offer better value than two 1-Zone modules?
Yes. The 2-Zone Expansion Module (MPN 010-04488-00) adds two zones in a single compact housing at a lower total cost and with less wiring than purchasing two separate 1-Zone Expansion Modules.
