Best fit

Best for curved surfaces where a flat tape strip cannot follow the contour — under gunwales, around helm console curves, cockpit seat rails, T-top edge lighting, and any location where a dot-free “neon tube” appearance is preferred. The 600 mm length covers helm console edge arcs, short under-gunwale runs, and bracket lighting on smaller boats or tenders.

The LUX SNL180 uses the same driver and control ecosystem as the SL180 flat tape. It requires a Lumishore LUX Strip Light Driver and cannot be wired directly to a power source or third-party dimmer. For MFD and smart device control, add the EOS-LUX Command Center (60-0366):

Frequently asked questions

What is the difference between the SNL180 and the SL180?
The SNL180 is a silicone neon-tube extrusion (14.5 mm × 21 mm) that bends side-to-side and produces a dot-free glow — ideal for curved surfaces and visible light runs. The SL180 is a thin flat tape (14.5 mm × 5 mm) that bends vertically, is slightly lighter and more compact, and carries an IP68 rather than IP67 rating. Both use the same CRGBW technology, driver, and EOS-LUX control ecosystem.

Can I cut the SNL180 to a shorter length?
No. The SNL180 is factory-sealed to IP67 as a complete fixed length. Cutting breaks the seal and voids the warranty. Order the length closest to your required run, or use two shorter lengths. The 3 m maximum is the longest available SNL180.

Does the SNL180 require a driver?
Yes. It must be powered by a Lumishore LUX Strip Light Driver (60-0383 or equivalent). Do not connect directly to your battery or to any third-party controller.

How do I mount the SNL180?
Use the supplied stainless steel screw clips. Screw clips to the surface every approximately 300 mm and at each bend point; the neon flex strip clicks into the clips. No adhesive is needed. For runs longer than 1 m, Lumishore recommends two-person installation to avoid kinking.

Is the SNL180 compatible with my Garmin MFD?
Yes, with the EOS-LUX Command Center (60-0366) added. The driver connects to the EOS-LUX Command Center, which interfaces with Garmin and other major MFD brands. Without the Command Center, the strip is controlled by a momentary switch only.

What is the maximum length I can daisy-chain on one driver?
Up to 10 m total. For example, you can connect three 3 m SNL180 strips (9 m total) on one driver, or mix SNL180 and SL180 lengths as long as the total does not exceed 10 m.

What's the warranty?
3 years from Lumishore. MyGreenOutdoors is a Garmin and Lumishore authorized dealer and supports warranty service.
