The 6-Core 2-Way Splitter is an in-line passive cable accessory compatible with the LUX SL180 strip light and LUX SNL180 neon-flex products within the Lumishore LUX and EOS-LUX ecosystem. Use with the LUX SL/SNL Power Extension Cables (010-14457-00 / 010-14459-00) to position the splitter at the correct distance from the driver.

Frequently asked questions

Will the splitter work with ECLIPSE SL100 or SNL100 strip/neon-flex products?
No. The 6-Core 2-Way Splitter uses the proprietary 6-pin Lumishore keyed connector format for the LUX SL180/SNL180 ecosystem. The ECLIPSE SL100 and SNL100 use a different 2-wire connection format and are not compatible with this splitter.

Does splitting the output reduce brightness on each run?
The splitter is a passive Y-branch. Both output runs receive the full driver signal; actual brightness depends on the driver's total current capacity versus the combined draw of both runs. Consult the driver's maximum load specification to confirm it can support the combined strip or neon-flex length on both outputs.

Can I use more than one splitter in the same zone?
Technically, a second splitter can be placed on one of the output legs to create a three-way branch. Ensure the total current draw of all resulting runs does not exceed the driver output capacity.

What's the warranty?
Lumishore covers this accessory with a 3-year warranty. MyGreenOutdoors is a Garmin and Lumishore authorized dealer and can assist with warranty claims.
