Compatibility & control

The 50" Curved Light Bar runs standalone from a customer-supplied on/off switch or integrates into the ECLIPSE or EOS-LUX Command Center for MFD dimming and zone control. At 32.1 A at 12 V, a 24 V electrical system and heavier-gauge wiring are strongly recommended; consult a marine electrician for conductor sizing on your vessel's specific run lengths.

Frequently asked questions

Is a 24 V system required for the 50" bar?
A 12 V installation is possible but draws 32.1 A, requiring heavy conductor and a robust circuit. A 24 V system cuts the draw to 16.0 A and is strongly recommended on any vessel where cable runs exceed 10 feet. Consult a marine electrician before selecting conductor gauge.

What's the physical length including brackets?
The overall bar body is 1,315 mm (51.8"). With mounting brackets extended, allow at least 1,400 mm of clear mounting span.

Can two 50" bars be run on a single EOS-LUX zone?
Yes — control-wise, multiple bars can be on the same zone. Each bar must be on its own individually fused circuit per ABYC guidelines; power-wise, two bars at 24 V draw up to 32 A combined.

Does the beam angle change with bar length?
No. All four Curved Light Bar sizes share the same 9°–20° letterbox beam angle and 44° total sweep angle. Longer bars increase raw lumen output, not beam spread.

What Garmin chartplotters are compatible with EOS-LUX integration?
Supported models include GPSMAP 7x2 Plus/9x2 Plus/12x2 Plus, 7x3/9x3/12x3/15x3/16x3, 84xx/86xx, 8700 Black Box, 90xx/92xx, 9500 Black Box, TD 50, and GPSMAP A7/A12. The Lumishore MFD Conversion Cable for Garmin (010-14453-00) is required.
