Compatibility & control

The CL30 Blue works with a standard customer-supplied on/off switch at 12 V. For dimming, zone grouping, strobe, and MFD control, it integrates directly into the Lumishore ECLIPSE Command Center ecosystem. The ECLIPSE Command Center supports up to three zones, expandable with ECLIPSE Expansion Modules.

Frequently asked questions

Does the CL30 need an external driver?
No. The CL30 has an internal driver. For basic on/off control, wire directly to a 12 V switched, fused circuit (1 A fuse). The ECLIPSE Command Center is only required if you want dimming, zone control, or strobe.

What hole size do I need to drill?
Drill a 23 mm (1.0") hole in the panel or bulkhead. The CL30 is secured with marine adhesive — no screws or clips needed.

Is the CL30 rated for fully exposed deck areas?
Yes. IP68 means it's rated for continuous submersion, so cockpit soles, swim steps, and other fully exposed wet areas are fine. It is not designed for underwater installation.

Can I dim the CL30 Blue?
Yes, with the ECLIPSE Command Center (60-0495). Without the Command Center, it is on/off only.

Is this the same as the Garmin 010-04468-00?
Yes. Following Garmin's acquisition of Lumishore in October 2024, Lumishore products carry Garmin MPN designations. The hardware is unchanged — it is the same ECLIPSE CL30 Blue, now sold under the Garmin/Lumishore brand.

What's the warranty?
Lumishore covers the ECLIPSE CL30 with a 3-year warranty. MyGreenOutdoors is a Garmin and Lumishore authorized dealer and can assist with warranty claims.
