Compatibility & control

The ECLIPSE SMX24 Blue is 12 V DC only. Two control modes are available:

• On/off switch (standalone): simple on/off control; single color, no cycling. 2-wire connection.
• ECLIPSE Command Center (sold separately): adds dimming, strobe mode, zone control, and MFD or Wi-Fi integration — compatible with Garmin, Raymarine, Simrad/B&G, Furuno, Lowrance, and Humminbird MFDs on 12 V systems

Hull isolation kit required for metal, aluminum, or carbon fibre hulls.

Is the SMX24 Blue compatible with 24 V systems?
No — the ECLIPSE SMX24 is 12 V DC only (10.5–15 V DC). For 24 V systems, choose the ECLIPSE SMX54 (79335) or ECLIPSE SMX94 (79336).

Can I add color change later?
Not to the blue-only model. To get dual-color blue/white, you would need the ECLIPSE SMX24 Blue/White (79316), which has both LED channels installed. The single-color unit cannot be field-upgraded to dual color.

Can the SMX24 Blue connect to my Garmin MFD?
Yes — when paired with the ECLIPSE Command Center (sold separately), the SMX24 integrates with compatible Garmin MFDs on 12 V systems. Direct MFD control without a Command Center is not supported.

Is the SMX24 IP68 rated?
Yes. IP68 for continuous submersion. Marine bronze housing with Borosilicate glass lens.

What is the ECLIPSE Command Center?
The ECLIPSE Command Center (sold separately, Garmin MPN 010-04486-00) is Lumishore’s ultra-compact zone controller with built-in drivers, Wi-Fi, and MFD Ethernet connectivity. It controls up to 3 lighting zones (expandable to 6) and is required for MFD integration with ECLIPSE lights.

Is this a Garmin product?
Yes. Garmin acquired Lumishore in October 2024. The ECLIPSE SMX24 Blue carries Garmin MPN 010-04501-00 and is sold through Garmin-authorized dealers including MyGreenOutdoors.

What warranty does the SMX24 carry?
A 3-year warranty covers defects in workmanship from the date of original purchase.
