The EOS TIX1604 uses EOS-Link / Lumi-DMX (DMX 512 + RDMX). Full MFD integration requires the EOS-LUX Command Center (PN 60-0366, sold separately). Once connected, compatible displays include:

Frequently asked questions

Does the EOS TIX1604 work with my Garmin MFD?
Yes. With the EOS-LUX Command Center (PN 60-0366) and the Garmin Conversion Cable (PN 60-0372) — both sold separately — the TIX1604 integrates with all Garmin OneHelm-enabled MFDs, including the GPSMAP 8400, 8600, 9x3, and 10x3 series.

Is this the same as the “Garmin underwater light”?
Yes. Garmin acquired Lumishore in October 2024. The EOS TIX1604 now carries Garmin MPN 010-04533-00 and is sold under the Garmin/Lumishore brand. The hardware, design, and manufacturing are unchanged.

What is the difference between TIX and THX?
TIX models have an internal LED array and integrated driver housed inside an interchangeable module that can be removed from inside the boat — no haulout required. THX models use a standard 1" thru-hull shaft (27 mm cutout) with an external driver mounted inside the hull. Both offer the same lumen output; the choice depends on installation preference and hull section thickness.

Does the EOS TIX1604 require a separate driver?
No. The TIX1604 includes a built-in multi-channel driver. The EOS-LUX Command Center (PN 60-0366) is required for MFD and Wi-Fi control but is not a driver.

What hull cutout size does the TIX1604 require?
The TIX1604 requires a 92 mm (3-5/8") hull cutout. Interior clearance of approximately 190 mm (7.5") behind the hull is needed for the shaft and wiring.

Can multiple TIX1604 lights be run together?
Yes. The EOS i-Connect Hub (PN 60-0321) supports up to 4 lights per hub. Multiple hubs can be daisy-chained for larger installations. The system supports fully synchronized scenes, color cycles, and zones across all connected lights.

What is the warranty?
Lumishore (Garmin) covers the EOS TIX1604 with a 3-year warranty per the installation manual. MyGreenOutdoors is an authorized Garmin and Lumishore dealer — contact us for warranty support in North America.
