The included EOS-LUX Command Center (PN 60-0366) and EOS-LUX-SUPRA Display (PN 60-0369) provide both MFD and standalone control. Compatible displays include:

Frequently asked questions

Does the SMX154 require any hull drilling?
Only a small 13.5 mm (17/32") hole for the cable pass-through. The lights mount via three marine bronze screws into the hull surface — no large bore required and no thru-hull fitting to seal.

Is this a Garmin product?
Yes. Garmin acquired Lumishore in October 2024. This kit carries Garmin MPN 010-04511-00 and is sold under the Garmin/Lumishore brand. The hardware is unchanged.

Can I use this system without an MFD?
Yes. The included EOS-LUX-SUPRA Display provides complete standalone operation via touchscreen, rotary dial, and built-in Wi-Fi. No chartplotter connection is required.

How does the SMX154 compare to TIX404 thru-hull lights?
The SMX154 is surface-mounted (no hull bore beyond a cable hole) and has a 90° beam angle with 7,000 fixture lumens per light. The TIX404 is a thru-hull fixture with a 110° beam angle and 7,500 fixture lumens. The TIX404 mounts flush to the hull for less drag; the SMX154 is easier to install on stepped hulls and transoms where a thru-hull is not practical.

Can I add more lights later?
Yes. The included hub supports up to 4 lights. Add lights by purchasing additional SMX154 units (or other EOS-compatible lights) and connecting them to the hub; a second hub can expand the system further.

What is the warranty?
