The SMX94 supports two control modes:

• On/off switch (standalone): a standard third-party on/off switch cycles through colors; toggle off-then-on to pause on any color in the RGBW spectrum. No Command Center required.
• ECLIPSE Command Center (sold separately): adds zone-level dimming, scene programming, strobe, sound-to-light, and MFD or Wi-Fi control — connects to Garmin, Raymarine, Simrad/B&G, Furuno, Lowrance, and Humminbird MFDs via Ethernet

No — the SMX94 operates on 10.5–31 V DC, making it compatible with both 12 V and 24 V DC electrical systems. This is a key advantage over the SMX24, which is 12 V only.
