Description
Lumishore flood light
Lumishore LUX 18" Flood Light CRGBW
A large-format full-spectrum CRGBW marine flood light delivering 7,500 fixture lumens through a 70°–90° oval beam from a 40 cm (18-inch) articulating fixture — the world’s first 18" CRGBW flood light. Custom diffusion optics ensure consistent color mixing across the entire beam width. The LUX 18" integrates natively with the EOS-LUX Command Center and MFDs for color-scene and entertainment lighting across the full vessel. This page keeps the CRGBW specs, wiring requirements, and LUX vs. ECLIPSE trade-offs high on the page so you can confirm the right large-format flood choice before ordering.

What’s included
- 1× Lumishore LUX 18" Flood Light CRGBW fixture
- Stainless-steel articulating mounting brackets with M6 fasteners, nylon insert nuts, and nylon washers
Best fit
Best for full-coverage color-scene deck, cockpit, and entertainment lighting on premium vessels where CRGBW color flexibility, white color-temperature tuning, and full MFD integration across Garmin, Simrad, or B&G are required from a large-format flood fixture.
Why choose this flood light
- World’s first 18" CRGBW flood light: Full-spectrum warm white, cold white, red, green, and blue on five independent HICOB channels — in a 40 cm large-format flood fixture — with custom diffusion optics for even, consistent color across the full 70°–90° oval beam.
- 7,500 fixture lumens of CRGBW output: Powerful enough for full deck flood and cockpit illumination on large vessels; tunable white runs from 2700 K warm to 6500 K cool for functional task or mood lighting.
- Native MFD integration via EOS-LUX ecosystem: Connect through the EOS-LUX Command Center and a Garmin, Simrad, or B&G conversion cable to control color zones, brightness, and party-mode scenes alongside all other LUX lights on the vessel from a single chartplotter screen.
- Low-profile articulating mount: Stainless-steel brackets allow tilt adjustment for beam direction; fits cabin tops, T-tops, arches, transoms, and radar pedestals; no bonding required.
- IP68 marine-grade construction, 50,000+ hour LEDs: Powder-coated aluminium housing with frosted lens; suitable for permanent exterior mounting in the harshest above-water marine environments without scheduled lamp replacements.
- Authorized dealer support: buy from MyGreenOutdoors with Garmin- and Lumishore-focused product help and fast shipping on qualifying orders.

Compatibility & control
The LUX 18" requires a LUX Light Control Module to drive the 3-wire data connection. Add the EOS-LUX Command Center and an MFD conversion cable to control color zones from your chartplotter. Wiring note: for multiple LUX 18" lights, the YELLOW data wire is daisy-chained between fixtures; the RED and BLACK power wires from the LUX module are cut and isolated at each light, with each fixture individually powered from a bus bar.
- LUX Light Control Module (60-0393) — required for 5-channel CRGBW control; up to 16 LUX lights per module
- EOS-LUX Command Center (60-0366) — MFD integration hub for multi-zone color-scene programming
- Garmin MFD conversion cable (60-0372) — plug-and-play Garmin chartplotter connection
- Simrad / B&G conversion cable (60-0373) — plug-and-play Simrad and B&G connection
- EOS-LUX-SUPRA Display (60-0369) — standalone Lumishore touchscreen for zone and color control without an MFD
Compare related options
Use these nearby options if you need white-only maximum output, a compact 4-inch CRGBW flood, or a light-bar format:
- Lumishore ECLIPSE 18" Flood Light (010-04460-00) — same 18" chassis, white-only 5500 K, higher fixture lumens (10,000), simpler 2-wire install; choose this when color is not needed and maximum white output is the priority
- Lumishore LUX 4" Flood Light CRGBW (010-04459-00) — compact CRGBW 4" flood for smaller accent-flood applications (1,050 fixture lumens)
- Lumishore 20" Curved Light Bar — White (010-04462-00) — 15,000 fixture lumen white light bar for maximum area white coverage
Frequently asked questions
Why does the LUX 18" have fewer lumens than the ECLIPSE 18"?
The LUX 18" distributes power across five LED channels (warm white, cold white, red, green, blue). When all channels run at maximum, total fixture lumens are 7,500. The ECLIPSE 18" concentrates all power into a single white channel to produce 10,000 fixture lumens. If maximum white deck illumination is the goal, choose the ECLIPSE 18". If color scenes and MFD integration are priorities, choose the LUX 18".
Can I control the LUX 18" from my Garmin MFD?
Yes. Add the EOS-LUX Command Center (60-0366) and the Garmin MFD conversion cable (60-0372) to control all LUX flood zones — including color, brightness, and scene presets — from a compatible Garmin MFD alongside your other LUX lighting zones.
How is the LUX 18" wired differently from the ECLIPSE 18"?
The LUX 18" uses a 3-wire connection: YELLOW (data), RED (positive), and BLACK (negative). For multiple LUX 18" lights, the YELLOW wire is daisy-chained through all fixtures; the RED and BLACK wires from the LUX Light Control Module are cut and isolated, and each fixture is individually powered from a common bus bar to handle the 9.2 A draw per light at 12 V.
What wire gauge is needed for the LUX 18"?
At 9.2 A max on 12 V, a minimum 12 AWG wire is recommended for short runs. For longer runs, follow ABYC guidelines. Each LUX 18" circuit should be individually fused.
Is bonding required for the LUX 18"?
No. The LUX 18" flood light does not require electrical bonding.
What is the photobiological risk warning?
The LUX 18" is rated Risk Group 2 (IEC 62471). The RG2 hazard boundary is 21 cm from the lens — do not stare directly at the light while operating at close range. Normal deck-mounted installations well above eye level eliminate this as a practical concern.
What is the warranty on the LUX 18"?
3 years from Lumishore. MyGreenOutdoors is a Garmin and Lumishore authorized dealer for warranty support in North America.
