The ORA TIX204 is a single-color light controlled by a standard third-party on/off switch only. Smart controller integration (i-Connect, EOS-Link, Lumi-Link, NMEA 2000, MFD) is not available for this model — those features are exclusive to the SUPRA dual-color and EOS full-color series.

Does the ORA TIX204 work with my Garmin chartplotter?
No — the ORA TIX204 single-color series uses a standard on/off switch only. MFD integration via i-Connect, EOS-Link, or NMEA 2000 is not supported on ORA single-color models. For MFD-controlled underwater lighting, see the SUPRA or EOS series.

How small is the hull cutout for the TIX204?
The TIX204 requires a 28 mm (1-1/8”) perpendicular hole through the hull — the smallest cutout in Lumishore’s TIX interchangeable lineup. Internal clearance of at least 7” is required to remove the LED insert module.

Can I replace the LED module without hauling the boat?
Yes. The interchangeable design lets you pull the LED insert module from inside the boat — no haul-out, no diver required. This is the primary advantage of the TIX over the THX thru-hull series.

Is the TIX204 rated for continuous underwater use?
Yes. The TIX204 is IP68 rated for continuous submersion. It is housed in marine bronze with a Borosilicate toughened glass lens.

What is the beam angle on the TIX204?
The TIX204 has a focused 60° beam angle that concentrates light directly into the water column — narrower than the THX204’s 110° flood angle, producing a deeper, more intense glow.

Is this a Garmin product?
Yes. Garmin acquired Lumishore in October 2024. The ORA TIX204 Light Blue carries Garmin MPN 010-04523-00 and is sold and supported through Garmin-authorized dealers including MyGreenOutdoors. The hardware and design are unchanged from the original Lumishore product.

What warranty does the TIX204 carry?
Lumishore/Garmin provides a 3-year warranty covering defects in workmanship from the date of original purchase. The warranty is voided by improper installation, unauthorized modification, or non-compliance with installation guidelines.
