Compatibility & control

The ORA TIX204 is a single-color light controlled by a standard third-party on/off switch only. Smart controller integration (i-Connect, EOS-Link, Lumi-Link, NMEA 2000, MFD) is not available for this model — those features are exclusive to the SUPRA dual-color and EOS full-color series.

Frequently asked questions

Does the ORA TIX204 White work with my Garmin chartplotter?
No — the ORA TIX204 single-color series uses a standard on/off switch only. MFD integration via i-Connect, EOS-Link, or NMEA 2000 is not supported on ORA single-color models. For MFD-controlled lighting, see the SUPRA or EOS series.

How small is the hull cutout?
The TIX204 requires a 28 mm (1-1/8”) perpendicular hole through the hull. Internal clearance of at least 7” is required to remove the LED insert module from inside the boat.

Can I replace the LED module without hauling out?
Yes. The interchangeable design lets you pull the LED insert module from inside the boat — no haul-out, no diver. This is the key advantage of the TIX over the non-interchangeable THX series.

Why choose white over blue or light blue?
White provides the highest underwater visibility for docking, night swimming, and general illumination. Blue and light blue are preferred for the aesthetic glow effect and fish attraction. White produces the cleanest, brightest neutral illumination from the TIX204 platform.

Is this light IP68 rated?
Yes. The TIX204 is IP68 rated for continuous submersion in marine bronze housing with a Borosilicate toughened glass lens.

Is this a Garmin product?
Yes. Garmin acquired Lumishore in October 2024. The ORA TIX204 White carries Garmin MPN 010-04524-00 and is sold through Garmin-authorized dealers including MyGreenOutdoors. The hardware and design are unchanged.

What warranty does the TIX204 carry?
A 3-year warranty covers defects in workmanship from the date of original purchase. It is voided by improper installation, unauthorized modification, or non-compliance with installation guidelines.
