Compatibility & control

The ORA TIX204 is a single-color light controlled by a standard third-party on/off switch only. Smart controller integration (i-Connect, EOS-Link, Lumi-Link, NMEA 2000, MFD) is not available for this model — those features are exclusive to the SUPRA dual-color and EOS full-color series.

Why green for fishing?
Green light wavelengths attract phytoplankton and baitfish, which in turn attract gamefish. Green underwater lights are a proven technique for night fishing at anchor or on slow drift. The TIX204 Green focuses a 60° beam directly into the water column for maximum depth penetration.

Does the ORA TIX204 Green work with a Garmin MFD?
No — the ORA single-color series is on/off switch controlled only. MFD integration via i-Connect, EOS-Link, or NMEA 2000 is not supported. For MFD-controlled lighting, see the SUPRA or EOS series.

How small is the hull cutout?
The TIX204 requires a 28 mm (1-1/8”) perpendicular hole through the hull. Internal clearance of at least 7” is required to remove the LED insert module from inside.

Can the LED module be replaced without hauling the boat?
Yes. The interchangeable design lets you pull the LED insert module from inside the boat without haul-out or a diver. This is the key advantage of TIX over the fixed THX series.

Is the TIX204 IP68 rated?
Yes. It is rated IP68 for continuous submersion, housed in marine bronze with a Borosilicate toughened glass lens.

Is this a Garmin product?
Yes. Garmin acquired Lumishore in October 2024. The ORA TIX204 Green carries Garmin MPN 010-04525-00 and is sold through Garmin-authorized dealers including MyGreenOutdoors. The hardware and design are unchanged.

What warranty does the TIX204 carry?
A 3-year warranty covers defects in workmanship from the date of original purchase.
