Best for installers expanding an existing SUPRA SMX, THX, or TIX lighting system beyond four lights, or setting up a multi-zone installation where additional hubs are needed but a redundant switch is not. This hub-only kit keeps cost down when the installation already has a switch from the initial installation kit. The SUPRA i-Connect Hub Kit provides power distribution and Lumi-Link DMX control to SUPRA-series lights. MFD or Display control is enabled by adding the SUPRA Bridge Module (sold separately). Hub-to-hub chaining uses DMX extension cables. MFD integration via Bridge Module uses the Garmin Marine Network (proprietary Ethernet) — not NMEA 2000.

Frequently asked questions

Why doesn't this kit include a switch?
The SUPRA i-Connect Hub Kit is designed for adding expansion hubs to an existing SUPRA installation that already has a switch from the initial installation kit. Omitting the switch reduces cost and avoids having redundant switches in the system. If you need a switch, start with the SUPRA THS/TIX Installation Kit (010-04358-00) or the SUPRA SMX Installation Kit (010-04443-00).

Is MFD control included?
No. This kit provides switch-based on/off and mode control. For full Garmin, Raymarine, or Simrad MFD control with color selection and zone management, add the SUPRA Bridge Module (010-04361-00). The Bridge Module uses the Garmin Marine Network — not NMEA 2000.

How many lights can I chain across multiple hubs?
Up to 16 hubs for thru-hull (THX/TIX) systems, supporting up to 64 lights. For SMX surface-mount systems the limit is 4 hubs / 16 lights. Hubs are connected via Lumi-Link DMX extension cables sold separately.

Is the hub IP-rated for wet bilge installation?
Yes. The SUPRA i-Connect Hub enclosure is IP68-rated, meaning it can be submerged in water — suitable for bilge or wet-locker installation without additional waterproof housing.

Is this a Garmin product following the 2024 acquisition?
Yes. Garmin acquired Lumishore in October 2024. The SUPRA i-Connect Hub Kit now carries Garmin MPN 010-04356-00 and is backed by Garmin's service network. The product hardware is unchanged.
