For full Garmin, Raymarine, Simrad, B&G, or Furuno MFD control with color selection, dimming, and zone management, add the SUPRA Bridge Module (010-04361-00, sold separately). MFD integration uses the Garmin Marine Network (proprietary Ethernet) — not NMEA 2000.

Frequently asked questions

Is this hub and switch kit truly required for TIX and THX lights?
Yes. Lumishore SUPRA TIX and THX lights cannot be wired or operated without an i-Connect Hub. There is no direct 2-wire connection option for these thru-hull models — the hub is mandatory for every installation.

Does this kit include MFD control?
No. The kit provides switch-based on/off and mode control. Add the SUPRA Bridge Module (010-04361-00) to enable full Garmin, Raymarine, Simrad, B&G, or Furuno MFD color control. Garmin integration uses the Garmin Marine Network — not NMEA 2000.

What is the maximum number of lights I can control from one installation?
Up to 16 hubs can be daisy-chained for thru-hull installations, supporting a maximum of 64 TIX or THX lights from a single switch and SUPRA Bridge Module.

Why does the product name say "THS/TIX" but the lights are labeled THX and TIX?
"THS" is used in the legacy product naming; the current product line uses "THX" for thru-hull external-driver models. The hub is compatible with both generations of THX/THS and TIX fixtures.

Is this product now a Garmin product?
Yes. Garmin acquired Lumishore in October 2024. The SUPRA THS/TIX i-Connect Installation/Upgrade Kit now carries Garmin MPN 010-04358-00 and is backed by Garmin's service network. Hardware is unchanged.

Can I use this kit as an upgrade on an SMX53 system?
Yes. This kit is optional (not required) for the SMX53. Installing it on an SMX53 system adds hub-level synchronization, per-light fusing, and switch control — and provides the Lumi-Link data port needed if you later add the SUPRA Bridge Module for MFD control.
