Compatibility & control

The SUPRA THX1604 uses the i-Connect system (Lumi-DMX). Primary control is via the SUPRA i-Connect Hub & Switch (60-0329, sold separately). For MFD or display control, add the SUPRA Bridge Module (PN 60-0368); compatible displays include:

Frequently asked questions

What is the difference between THX and TIX?
THX models use a standard 1" thru-hull shaft (27 mm hull cutout) with an external driver mounted inside the hull. TIX models have an internal LED array and built-in driver inside an interchangeable module that removes from inside the boat. THX offers a smaller hull footprint; TIX provides complete inside-hull serviceability of the LED array without touching the hull fitting.

Is this a Garmin product?
Yes. Garmin acquired Lumishore in October 2024. The SUPRA THX1604 now carries Garmin MPN 010-04519-00. The hardware and manufacturing are unchanged.

Where does the external driver mount?
The external driver is designed to be mounted inside the hull in a dry, ventilated location — typically in an equipment bay or helm console compartment. It is connected to the light via the pre-installed 3 m cable and to the i-Connect Hub via a separate data cable.

Do I need the SUPRA Bridge Module for basic operation?
No. Basic on/off, color selection, brightness, and strobe/fade are all handled by the SUPRA i-Connect Hub & Switch (60-0329, sold separately). The Bridge Module is only required for MFD chartplotter or Lumishore Display integration and Wi-Fi smartphone control.

Can the THX1604 be run on 12 V?
The SUPRA THX1604 is rated for 20–31 V DC (24 V nominal). It is not rated for 12 V operation. For 12 V vessels, consider the SUPRA THX804 or THX404, which support 10.5–31 V DC.

What is the warranty?
